SMVue + Salesforce

Turn your Salesforce pipeline into a manager’s coaching system.

Connect SMVue to Salesforce during onboarding, bring in your opportunities, accounts, and activity, and give sales managers one place to prep 1:1s, triage the pipeline, and coach reps. Salesforce stays your system of record. SMVue becomes where the team is run. From $150/month for one manager seat, with free scoped rep seats and read-only executive seats.

How it works

From CRM connection to coaching, in four steps.

01

Connect Salesforce during onboarding

A Salesforce admin authorizes SMVue during onboarding. SMVue reads the records needed for the integration and never creates, edits, or deletes an Opportunity, Account, Contact, or Activity.

02

Your pipeline maps itself

After you select the Salesforce users to import, SMVue syncs Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, Activities, and selected owners automatically. Record Types come across as separate pipelines, and each Stage brings its own probability, so your pipeline arrives shaped the way you already run it.

03

Managers get a command center

Daily priorities, 1:1 prep, pipeline triage, and coaching history live in one Command Center, built from the Salesforce data your team already trusts instead of a spreadsheet stitched together by hand.

04

Coaching actually sticks

Action items and coaching notes follow each rep and deal over time, so managers can see whether the last conversation turned into follow-through, not just whether the call happened.

What syncs from Salesforce

Everything a manager needs. Your records left alone.

SMVue pulls the Salesforce objects that describe your pipeline and keeps them current through change notifications plus scheduled resync. It reads those records and never edits them.

Read-only on your data. The one thing SMVue writes is its own change-notification setup — a Workflow Rule and Outbound Message, metadata only. SMVue attempts to remove that setup when you disconnect.
Opportunities

Open and recently closed opportunities with amount, close date, stage, and probability.

Record Types as pipelines

If you run multiple Record Types, each one arrives as its own pipeline.

Accounts and Contacts

The companies and people attached to each opportunity, including contact roles.

Activities

Recent Events, Tasks, and email activity that add context to the pipeline.

Users and owners

Salesforce users who own opportunities are available to import as team members and map to managers.

Stage history

OpportunityHistory where Salesforce history tracking is enabled, so velocity reads from real stage movement rather than today's snapshot.

What managers get

Less stitching reports together. More coaching.

Walk into every 1:1 prepared

SMVue assembles each rep's opportunities, recent activity, and open coaching items into a focused brief instead of making managers click through Salesforce records by hand.

Triage the deal in front of you

Pipeline reviews surface the opportunities that need a decision — stalled, slipping, or quiet — so the conversation is about what to do next, not what the numbers are.

Coaching that compounds

Every coaching note, action item, and 1:1 ties back to the rep and the opportunity, building a record of development an activity log was never meant to hold.

One source of truth, on top of Salesforce

Managers stop translating reports into action. Salesforce stays the CRM; SMVue becomes the place the team is actually run from.

Why this matters

Coaching moves the number. Most teams just can’t run it consistently.

SMVue exists to make manager coaching a habit rather than a heroic effort. The case for systematizing it is well documented by independent research:

FAQ

Does SMVue replace Salesforce?

No. Salesforce stays your CRM and system of record. SMVue sits on top of it and gives sales managers a dedicated workflow for 1:1 prep, pipeline reviews, and coaching. Your reps keep working their opportunities in Salesforce.

What does SMVue access in my Salesforce org?

SMVue uses Salesforce API access to read Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, Activities, and Users. It never creates, edits, or deletes those business records. To receive change notifications it does deploy one piece of configuration — a Workflow Rule and an Outbound Message, metadata only, no Apex — and it attempts to remove that automation when you disconnect. That is the only write SMVue performs in Salesforce.

Which Salesforce editions and environments work with SMVue?

SMVue works with Salesforce editions where API access is enabled. The connecting user needs API Enabled permissions and access to the records SMVue syncs. Production SMVue connects to production Salesforce orgs; sandbox orgs require a matching SMVue sandbox or test environment.

How long does setup take?

A Salesforce admin connects SMVue during onboarding, then chooses which Salesforce users to import. Initial sync time depends on record volume, Salesforce API limits, and field permissions. Change notifications plus scheduled resync keep the selected data current, but updates are not guaranteed to be instantaneous.

Do you handle multiple pipelines and custom fields?

Yes. Salesforce Record Types are imported as separate pipelines, and selected custom Opportunity fields can be mapped in Settings. Field coverage is configurable rather than exhaustive — SMVue imports what the coaching and pipeline workflow needs.
